Finished The Night Circus tonight.

If you haven't read it, go get it. This book... It is seriously one of the very best books I have ever read. Absolutely. I need a copy of this. I want a copy that is loved, and worn, and dogeared, and has notes and highlighting in it. I was a copy that has been lived in and enjoyed.

I'm already looking forward to reading it again (probably next year in October, honestly).

I've decided that I need to catalog my character's costume colours, because seriously? This girl be crazy.

So, story: There's an armour skin set in GW2 called the Profane Armor. It doesn't have stats of its own; it is purely a skin that was created for looks, and you use Transmutation Stones to change the stats. You can do this with anything that you pick up, actually, but the cosmetic skins are quite nice. I paid 400 gems (cash shop currency, pair for with funds from my Paypal account balance and in-game gold) for a full set of armour skins. That equals out to about $5.00USD.

After purchasing said armour skins, I'm not too inclined to give them up... I did manage to screw up the transmutation on the gloves, though, so ... That sucks. But the ones I transmuted still look okay, so whatever.

In Other News: I finished reading Let's Pretend This Never Happened, and I'm going to send it to my mum. I think she'll like it. I started reading Divergent last night; it's good. I'm interested to see where it's going.

Hey, guys! So, like last time, I've decided that I want to do one of the auctions over at help_japan; I did one before for the Haiti earthquakes, so I want to step up and do another.

This time, though, I think I'm going to need a little help.

I want to do another star jar for this. I have one here at home that I could use, but I'm honestly at little attached to it. So, I have a large globe fishbowl that I intend to fill with stars. Now, I emptied my lot of stars into the bowl, and it looks like I'll need about four times what I already have in order to fill it. So... I need about 5,000 stars.

Now, before anyone gets all crazy... What I'm asking is that if you have any star paper or origami paper of your own, if you would donate it to me, so I could fold the stars, I would be most grateful. I don't want you guys to go out and buy anything for this, so if you have anything on hand (or if you'd just like to scribble colors or write well wishes on some 5x5 paper) that you can stand to lose, I would really appreciate it.

I have a bit of origami paper here, enough to get me started, anyway... Though I do have to go out and get a paper cutter, because cutting paper with scissors would drive me nuts.

To the Harry Potter Fans on my Flist:

I have a box set of books 1-7 in hardcover, with trunk, and Hogwarts Express bookends, still sealed in plastic.

That would mean that the set has never been opened. Original retail if $175.00.
